Johann Sebastian BACH (1685-1750)
Johann Sebastian Bach was born in a family of German musicians whose members were ménétriers, organists and cantors in Thuringen since since the XVIth century. Orphan at 10 years, Johann Sebastian Bach receives a solid basic training on the organ, the harpsichord, the violin and on singing. Apart from this luggage, he is an autodidact. It is by the meticulous study of the works of the famous composers of his time that he assimilates the art of composition.
