In 1992, in Brest, as part of the jazz programme at Vauban, Jean-François Delcamp created "Brittany", which was enthusiastically received by both press and public. In 1993, with musicians from different backgrounds in the city of Brest; jazz, classical, and traditional music, he set up the association A.D.E.M.A. to promote contemporary music. From 1993 to 1997, Jean-François Delcamp took part in improvised music concerts as well as group compositions. In 1996, with the support of the Regional Department of Cultural Affairs of Brittany he created "Visions" at the Quartz of Brest, with jazzman Jean Luc Roumier and percussionnist Philippe Di Faostino.
