[PDF] Schubert, Franz; An den Mond

Postby hhenn » Mon Dec 18, 2006 8:20 pm

This is a transcription of the piano part of the Schubert song "An den Mond" in key E. The original piece is in E flat for high voice (soprano or tenor). The accompagniments of Schubert are great music and can be played solo. If you are lucky to find a good singer you can perform the piece as a duo. My recording of the piece is in the MP3 section of the forum.

Thank you for this

We guitarists seem to forget about Schubert , who was a fellow guitarist.

There must be quite a lot of his music which is to a greater or lesser extent guitaristic and playable on one or more guitars. i dont know how much of the time he worked out his music for other instruments on guitar. I know that sometimes he was unable to afford a piano.
Best wishes

Tony

Christine, it would be good if you went over to the Introduce Yourself section so we could welcome you properly... you will also recieve some instructions on how to access the forums.

You need to make two posts and then request permission to join the 002 user group... that will give you the required access to various areas of the forum

Welcome by the way... it's nice to see another lady player/member
